Justin was great! We recently purchased a new hot tub, and realized once we plugged it in, that the breaker tripped every time it turned on. Justin was able to upgrade the plug in our panel box, run a line with a designated outlet to our hot tub! He was quick, efficient and did it all for a really great price! We look forward to having him back to complete a few other projects at our new home. Highly recommend!

I contacted Justin to install an EV charger in my garage. He was very prompt and came out to give me an estimate. When the charger arrived, he was very prompt in scheduling the install. He did a very professional job in running the cable and running it in the wall to accomplish a clean and great looking installation. He was great to work with very thorough in his work and cleanup. I will contact him again when I have electrical needs.
Second visit: Justin came back and replaced all of the breakers in my service box in order to comply with insurance requirements. He was quick, thorough and cleaned up afterwards. He also tightened up an outlet for me as well. Thanks Justin First visit: Justin happened to be working in the complex and I waylaid him to replace a bathroom light switch in my condo. Excellent company Justin showed up on time ask what we needed he did some trouble shooting for us showed us what we needed for this plug on our outdoor kitchen. He put in the 220 plug that we requested it. It’s perfect and very well done . I would highly recommend this family owned company for your electrical needs. The price was very reasonable too.

We had Justin install my EV charger which I had brought with me from California. He did a great job and made it look like it was built in the house all along. Nice flush mounts of the outlet and clean cable runs. Very conscientious and persistent about the quality of the install. Kept me in the loop regarding acquisition of parts etc. Highly recommended! Update: We had Justin do some additional work. Install a doorbell from scratch (wiring and transformer), a chandelier for the kitchen, and full replacement of an old wiring panel with scorch marks on the inside. It was at least 40 years old. He handled all three tasks with ease and professionalism. Still great on the communicating and keeping us in the loop. Another great job!

I needed my generator hooked up to my home. Justin was on time and responsive, he is very professional and understood my needs. He brought the needed equipment for the install which took him a couple hours to do, not long. He made sure to stay while I tested the hook up with my generator which worked perfectly! I would definitely recommend and use Lightning Rod Electric again.

Justin was very good with communicating to me where he was and when he would finish. Did exactly what was quoted and cleaned up nicely after the project was completed. He also stayed until i was able to test out what he had done to make sure I liked it. He installed an exterior flood light and installed a new light switch inside to control it.

Justin provided fantastic customer service. He is a highly skilled electrician who is detail-oriented, transparently communicative and very kind. He responded to our work request expeditiously, walked us through what the repair involved and kept us in constant communication with the project status which also involved coordinating with the APS electric company. It is usually nerve-wracking to hire an electrician especially if you don’t know much about electrical work. But finding Justin was like hitting the jackpot! I wanted to share my surprisingly pleasant experience with potential customers of Lighting Rod Electric LLC. Today I called regarding an electrical problem related to my circuitry. With a pleasing manner, Justin the owner, was able to resolve the situation by instructing me over the telephone. He could have come over to my home and charged me for a visit. I would have been none the wiser. I find this honesty commendable and, unfortunately, rather rare these days.
My central AC went out and I needed a dedicated 20amp line to run my portable air conditioner. Contacted Justin and he was out within just a few hours and completed the job quickly and professionally! Great job!

Excellent work at all stages of the project! Polite, quick to respond to messages and thorough. Justin went out of his way to go to the store where our new stove was to measure the back, etc. Thus was a difficult jib in which a new stove lead to replacing electrical box and new wiring in a 1952 home.
